A Little About The Area.... The unincorporated community of Squaw Valley, California is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range, approximately 40 miles east of Fresno. The foothill communities range in elevation from 1700 to 5000 feet. Squaw Valley enjoys a mild winter with temperatures averaging 55 degrees in the daytime. Access to the Fresno-Clovis metropolitan area is via State Highway 180. Easy access to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks that are filled with mountain lakes and streams for fishing, camping and other recreational activities. Each property is independent with it's own water well and septic system. Power and phone is provided by outside utility companies. Fire protection is provided by the Mid-Valley Fire Protection District that maintains a fire station on State Highway 180 and Sand Creek Road.
